Go beyond the 'four views' of Revelation.

Revelation is not a survival guide for future wrath and judgement. The 'last days' are full of glory that increases as we approach the end of this age!

Why do you need this book?

1 You will discover how the prophecies of Jesus unlock Revelation.

Matthew 23 and 24 are perhaps the most misunderstood words of Jesus. Many fear them, even today, believing that our Messiah was speaking to his disciples of a calamity that would occur thousands of years into the future. That couldn't be further from the truth – his words spoke to the Jewish audience of his day! Both Jesus and his beloved apostle John prophesied concerning the same event!

2 You will understand the primary audience and purpose of John's visions.

Jesus chose to come to Israel, as a fulfilment of Jewish prophecies. His followers were Jews, and he and his ministry team stayed within the boundaries of the Holy Land. It was to these people, those still bound by the contractual obligations of the Law of Moses, that both Jesus and John prophesied to. The message? The Mosaic Age was coming to an end, and the sacrificial system would be abolished forever. When the Jewish Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, all these things came to pass.

3 You will gain greater depth of knowledge into the difficult prophecies of Jesus.

What did Jesus mean when he said, "heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away"? Or how about when he said, "all these things will come upon this generation"? While these may seem like riddles to us today, being almost 2000 years removed from the culture and context of that time, by no means are we to remain aloof. Jesus words would have been clearly understood by the audience surrounding him when he spoke them. And these words spoke of the same events described in the book of Revelation!

 What can you expect?

This book focuses on the big picture – the why behind all of human existence. I call it "God's Grand Love Story." From there, we dive into the most important event in human history thus far: the advent of Jesus, the Son of God and Saviour of all creation. This is the bedrock from which our understanding of the Book of Revelation must be built upon. And the book is written in an easy to read style, without all of the scholarly gibberish!

Additionally, you will find:

Given that Aramaic, not Greek, was the language that Jesus and his fellow Jews spoke, this book draws from Aramaic biblical texts for added insights. This book is the first of its kind to dive this deep into the Aramaic text.

  • Historical context

This book offers a vivid depiction of the Jewish and Roman world in the late 60s AD, when everyone thought the world was about to end. Excerpts from Josephus, Roman historians, and Early Church Fathers abound.

  • A message of hope

Not all of Revelation has been fulfilled! God did not reject the Jewish people. The world is not getting worse. Discover how, based on concrete Biblical evidence, God's plans for the future are bright and full of hope!

 📚

This is a standalone book. But...

It was written as part of a three-volume series!

Book 2: Line-by-line commentary

Revelation: Dawn of All Hope

This commentary draws from Aramaic, rather than Greek, as the primary text. As a result, the tone of the text is much softer, Jesus is more compassionate, and the enigmas are less puzzling. It seeks to provide readers with an exciting, first-century Hebraic perspective on Revelation as catastrophic events unfold.

Specifically, this book links the contractual obligations of the Law of Moses, along with specific prophecies spoken by Jesus, to the historical accounts surrounding the fall of Jerusalem in 70 CE. Yet it never loses sight of present and future hope, not even for those recipients of Revelation’s woes.

The end result is a rich and passionate translation that offers new insights into the overall purpose and primary audience of John’s Apocalypse.

Book 3: Line-by-line commentary (coming soon!)

Revelation: Dawn of Eternity

This commentary covers the two greatest ages of all time: the golden age we are now in, which is the age of the Kingdom of Christ, and the age to come, where heaven and earth become one!

Journey through chapters 12 to 22 of John's Apocalypse, continuing to draw from the language of Jesus in order to fuller uncover all the mysteries within the visions of Revelation. In addition to thorough exegesis, this book continues to draw extensively from early Jewish and Roman historical sources, and the works of Early Church Fathers, in order to provide relevant context.

The epiphany of of God's Grand Love Story will leave you in awe and adoration of His great wisdom and love for all His creation!

The Best Book I've Read on the Subject.

“This book is a must read for anyone wishing to understand Jesus' teachings on the "end times." The book of Revelation is such a confusing, and scary, book for so many Christians.

Leo does a marvelous job of bringing the history and context of the Jewish people in relationship to Jesus' teachings and parables. The material is very well laid out, documented and understandable for everyone. He does an excellent job of making sense of what the Bible is really saying.”

— Michael Wilson

Leo's book marries scripture with historical context about "end times."

“This is a must read! Being schooled in futuristic end time eschatology over the course of my Christian walk.

I've found Leo's book enlightening and refreshing. His work to bring the reader to consider the historical context, and how important it is, as how it relates to scripture as God forewarned of impending judgement on the old mosaic system, thru His prophets, apostles and the very words of Jesus, and how God relates to His people now, thru the finished work of Jesus.

All scripture is for us, but not always to us. I appreciate how Leo, gathers and documents writings from historians of the time when the scriptures were being played out.”

— Beth Mallory

It will change your understanding of biblical prophecy of end times.

“What a refreshing book. If you are someone who was brought up with the idea of the "rapture" and "End times" theology this book will be challenging but incredibly fruitful and rewarding if given an open mind.

This book does a wonderful job of aligning these two.
It brought such clarity to many of Jesus's parables within the context and was very eye opening and refreshing. You will come away with a better understanding of Christ and why he came and what his true message was.”

— Joe R.
